Regardless of your age and stage of your life, we believe everyone should investigate financial guidance and advice. Whether you look for this from your family, friends, banker, accountant, or elsewhere it is extremely important that the advice you get is accurate, that you understand the information and you feel comfortable following the advice you’ve been given. It is critical to your financial wellbeing that you have an advisor that understands you as a person, understands your goals, relates to you, and most important of all…..walks at your pace. We feel so fortunate that we found this with Steve Oliver.
This is the situation we found ourselves in the early 1990’s.
We were looking to install a Board of Directors to strengthen our place in the market, sustain our income through retirement and to secure our Governance. Our aim was to separate the big picture governance from the management. The goal was to ensure the day to day Business Management had a sound direction to aspire to and a capable Board of Directors to answer to.
Early on in this process of establishing our Governance Board, we were buying a building and by pure chance we stumbled over Steve when he was at the SBS. Steve presented himself as personable, bright, decisive, and very likeable. He made an immediate and positive impression on us and truthfully within a few minutes of first meeting him we took a calculated assessment and he was invited to be our first “outside director”. We just knew that Steve was going to be great in that role.
From those first early days in his career Steve has continued to develop into being an outstanding business advisor for us and of course, many others. The proof of his ability to guide us and for him to ask those questions we hadn’t even thought of has been the recipe for our success and his too.
Steve has been an outstanding addition to our business, our lives and our finances. Without his knowledge, ability to see the big picture and his input we would have struggled to achieve to the level we have. We highly recommend you meet Steve, check out if what he can do fits what you’re intending to do, and if it gels, we are sure you should use his skill set.
