This is the situation we found ourselves in the early 1990’s.
We were looking to install a Board of Directors to strengthen our place in the market, sustain our income through retirement and to secure our Governance. Our aim was to separate the big picture governance from the management. The goal was to ensure the day to day Business Management had a sound direction to aspire to and a capable Board of Directors to answer to.

Early on in this process of establishing our Governance Board, we were buying a building and by pure chance we stumbled over Steve when he was at the SBS. He made an immediate and positive impression on us and truthfully within a few minutes of first meeting him we took a calculated assessment and he was invited to be our first “outside director”. We just knew that Steve was going to be great in that role.
